Team retreat to Pittsburgh
The doctors and team took time out of the office to visit Pittsburgh and share some relaxing time together. It is a great privilege to have a team that enjoys working together and having fun, in and out of the office.
Dr. Saylor Earned his MBA!
Second to his love of endodontics is his love of business! Dr. Saylor has been working towards his MBA for several years and was finally able to receive this added degree from Penn State! We are all very proud of him! Congratulations Dr. Saylor!!
Central PA Endo hosts a Team Building Mastery Course
October 2019 Central Pennsylvania Endodontics hosted a continuing education course for our referring offices and their teams. The course was held at Toftrees Resort and was presented by Dr. Roger Levin. What a great opportunity it was to share time and learn together with the other dental professionals in our community.
Dr. Chang and Gecina are married!
Dr. Chang and Dr. Gecina were married on Saturday, October 28, 2017! We are all so excited for the happy couple!! They will be out of the office for a couple weeks to celebrate while not discussing root canals!
Dr. Gecina to start at Central Pennsylvania Endodontics!
Dr. Gecina completed her endo residency and will be joining our office on July 18th. We are all very excited to have her on board! Once you meet her, it won’t take long to understand why. Her exceptional clinical skills, combined with her concern for the patient and vibrant personality, make her a great addition to our professional, caring team.
Dr. Laura Gecina will soon be joining our practice!
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Laura Gecina will be joining our practice in July 2016. Dr. Gecina will rotate working at each of our practice locations, therefore allowing us to increase our days and availability to see emergencies. More details to come soon!
Dr. Chang is engaged!
Dr. Chang has started the new year by sharing some great news. He proposed and she said yes! The doctors and staff at Central PA Endodontics are all very happy to congratulate Dr. Chang and his new fiance Dr. Laura Gecina. A wedding date has not yet been set but we are looking forward to her not only joining his family but our work family as well!
Mifflinburg Location opened September 2015!!
We had the wonderful opportunity to expand our service of care to in the Mifflinburg area. This third location has been a great opportunity to build new professional relationships with exceptional general dentist as well as care for the endodontic needs of their very appreciative patients.
New building at our Dubois location – September 2013
Central Pennsylvania Endodontics opened a second location in Dubois in January 2012. Since that time our practice has grown, requiring more availability to our patients and referring offices in the area.Due to that growth, we recently moved to a new location where we can better serve our patients. With more space and availability, our new office will allow us to continue our high standard of care for which we are well known.
Our new office is located at 170 McCracken Run Rd., Dubois, PA. We are pleased to accept patients from this and the surrounding communities in order to provide you with the convenience of being close to home.

Dr. Chang joins our practice! – September 2013
Central Pennsylvania Endodontics is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Andrew Chang to our offices. Dr. Chang is a 2013 graduate of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where he obtained a specialty certificate in Endodontics. Prior to his specialty training, Dr. Chang received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University in 2011. He is also a 2006 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he majored in Microbiology and minored in Biochemistry and Molecular biology. Andy is also a 2002 graduate of State High in State College, PA
On a personal note, we had the opportunity to work with Andy for a year in our State College office as an assistant, where he first developed his interest in Dentistry and Endodontics. We know him to be an extremely intelligent and caring individual who will take excellent care of our patients.
Our ability to accommodate emergencies will be greatly enhanced with the addition of Dr. Chang. We are expanding hours and will now be able to see most patient emergencies on the same day.
Website conveniences
In an effort to ease the process of form completion, we now provide electronic form submission. Our patients and referring doctors can retrieve patient registration forms, as well as referral slips through our new website. Once the forms are completed, they can then be submitted through a secured line for our retrieval. If desired, forms can still be downloaded to print and mail.
Dr. Saylor is Board Certified!
We were excited to congratulate Dr. Saylor on completing his final board examination in November 2011. After many years of hard work and a deep commitment to professional excellence, he was accepted and welcomed as a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists.
